Unilag Begins Probe of Alleged ‘Sex-for-marks lecturers’ - Trending News in Nigeria

Trending news in Nigeria has it that the University of Lagos’ management has started investigating allegations of sexual harassment levelled against its two lecturers, Dr Boniface Igbeneghu of Department of European Languages and Integrated Studies and Dr Samuel Oladipo of Department of Economics. 

The school has set up a probe panel headed by Professor Ayodele Atsenuwa of the faculty of law to look into the issues surrounding the allegations so that facts could be established. The two lecturers were featured in a BBC video that exposed some African lecturers demanding sexual gratifications before helping female students.
