Apple registers domain names relating to automobiles, including "apple.car"

Apple Inc has enlisted domain names identified with cars, adding to theory about the organization's arrangements to build up a vehicle.

The iPhone creator enlisted the domain names, which incorporate apple.car, apple.cars and apple.auto in December, as per domain data supplier Who.is.

MacRumors had initially reported the news on Friday, yet said the names could be identified with Apple's CarPlay, which allows drivers access contacts on their iPhones, make calls or listen to phone messages without taking their hands off the controlling wheel.

While never straightforwardly recognizing arrangements to construct an auto, Apple has been forceful in selecting auto specialists from organizations, for example, Ford or Mercedes-Benz.

Auto innovation has turned into a prime range of enthusiasm for Silicon Valley organizations including Google Inc, which has constructed a model self-driving auto.
